City Church-Corpus Christi welcomes Steven Hansen as our new Director of Music and Media Arts. Steven and his wife Angi come to us from Austin, Texas where he has worked for the past six years as an indie musician and recording artist.

In 2002, Steven earned a degree in the recording arts from Full Sail in Orlando, Florida. From there he moved to Austin, Texas where he worked as a studio engineer and producer at Music Lab recording studios.

In the summer of 2007 Steven and Angi were visiting family in Corpus Christi, Texas and he was asked to help with the Sunday morning worship at our church. A few months later, he began making regular trips to fill in as a permanent substitute leading our worship team. It was during this time that Steven began to sense a call on his life to use his musical gifting and talent for the local church. This past summer, City Church was able to help make that calling a reality.
