How We’ll Play (ACL-Style, Simplified)

We’ll follow standard American Cornhole League (ACL) rules with two adjustments: board distance will be 21 ft (front edge to front edge) instead of the official 27 ft, and games will play to 11 points for most rounds (21 for finals, time permitting).

Core Gameplay
  • Scoring: Most matches play to 11 points with cancellation scoring (on-board = 1, in-hole = 3). Final rounds, time permitting, play to 21.
  • No bust: You don’t need to hit exactly 11/21—going over still wins.
  • Turns: Each player throws 4 bags per inning, alternating (A1, B1, A2, B2…). The team that scored last inning throws first next inning.
  • Foot faults: Keep feet behind the board’s front edge until release; violations make the bag a foul.
  • Foul bags: Any bag that hits the ground before the board or is aided by another object is removed from scoring.
  • Sportsmanship: Friendly talk is fine—no distraction or interference. Keep play moving.
