📖 Message Summary
Throughout Scripture, God repeatedly tells His people to remember and fear not. Reassurance renews our confidence when fear, disappointment, or delay causes us to question what we once knew to be true about God.
Abraham also needed reassurance. God had promised him descendants, but many years passed without the promised child. By Genesis 17, Abram was ninety-nine years old, yet God appeared again as El Shaddai—God Almighty and reaffirmed His covenant. The delay had not canceled the promise.
Abram responded by falling facedown before the Lord. His humility allowed him to receive God’s reassurance and take a fresh stance of faith. When life does not unfold as expected, God calls us to remember that His faithfulness exceeds our own.
Our circumstances may be greater than our strength, but they are never greater than God’s power. Even when we cannot feel His presence, His grace, mercy, and faithfulness remain. God is still here, and He remains a promise keeper and covenant keeper.
